Teenager beheaded over 40-year-old land dispute in UP’s Jaunpur

A 17-year-old boy was beheaded with a sword in a fight over a piece of land in Kabiruddinpur village of Jaunpur district. The 40-year-old land dispute is currently in civil court, leading to District Magistrate suspending a local revenue officer and action being taken against another official. The violence stemmed from a confrontation between villagers, resulting in the decapitation of Anurag Yadav and the arrest of Lalta Yadav, with a search ongoing for his son Ramesh.
