A 26-year-old teacher’s aide at Marya Yates Elementary School in suburban Matteson was arrested for allegedly grabbing and dragging an 8-year-old student in the hallway before forcefully nudging him into a classroom. The incident was captured on school security footage, leading to charges of Battery and Endangering the Life and Health of a Child.
