Toronto Schools Reopen Tuesday After Snow Closures

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) announced that schools will reopen on Tuesday after closures due to record snowfall. The TDSB informed parents that while snow-clearing efforts are ongoing, navigating sidewalks and parking areas may be challenging, and delays in school bus services are likely. The TCDSB confirmed that its buses will operate but may also experience delays, and child-care programs will continue, though permits are canceled. Additionally, the York Region District’s schools and 39 City-run child care centers will remain open, operating from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
