Rare Russian Bird Sighted at Vancouver Beach

On Sunday, birders flocked to Vancouver’s Sunset Beach Park to see a rare taiga flycatcher, a first-ever sighting in Canada. First spotted by Ethan Moon on Christmas Day, these birds typically breed in Eastern Russia and Mongolia and migrate to parts of Asia.
