75 tourists were helped down the Platteklip Gorge trail on Table Mountain after a lithium battery fire at the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway suspended operations. Rescue teams, including WSAR and Cape Town emergency responders, assisted those descending the challenging hiking trail, with a drone providing aerial monitoring and teams responding to instances of exhaustion and injury.
