Wheelchair-bound woman’s fight for answers and accountability after spinal surgery

Tracy Jarman, 60, became wheelchair-bound following a surgery in 2021 aimed at addressing spinal cysts, which had troubled her since her 50s. After experiencing a drastic decline in her health post-surgery, she has filed a complaint with the Health and Disability Commissioner seeking accountability and now advocates for others while studying health and wellbeing. Additionally, Jarman is challenging ACC for funding medicinal cannabis to support her ongoing recovery.
