K. Annamalai, the BJP State president, criticized the deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu, citing recent murders in Tiruppur district. He expressed concern over the lack of arrests in previous cases, including a family of three and four individuals being killed in separate incidents in 2024 and 2023. Annamalai alleged that the state has become unsafe due to rising criminal activities like murder, sexual assault, drug use, and burglary, leading to a loss of public trust in the police under the DMK government.
