Earlier this month, Andrei Borodin, a Russian tourist, was hospitalized in Bali with suspected methanol poisoning but tested negative for it. His girlfriend, Victoria Argapova, has been by his side, facing immense stress and financial burdens as medical bills reach 1.4 billion IDR ($128,000). Despite some signs of recovery, Andrei’s condition remains critical, prompting Victoria to arrange his evacuation to Moscow for better treatment due to limited resources in Indonesia. She remains hopeful, stating, “He’s a fighter, a real fighter.”
