On Tuesday, a mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C., resulted in the deaths of eight people, including the suspect, 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar, who was found dead in a local high school. Two victims were killed at a home, identified as Van Rootselaarβs mother and his 11-year-old stepbrother, while six others, including a 39-year-old educator and several students, were killed at the school. Two additional victims remain in serious condition, and about 25 others were injured.
