Judith Tinnock, former national champion tennis player, dies at 94

Four-time national tennis singles champion Judith Tinnock, a pioneering figure in New Zealand tennis, has passed away at the age of 94 in Auckland. In 1954, she made history as one of the first New Zealand women to compete at Wimbledon, where she reached the third round in singles and the quarterfinals in women’s doubles.
