Prof. Tomonori Totani found a pattern of gamma rays from the Milky Way’s center that aligns with predictions for dark matter emissions, potentially indicating it consists of particles 500 times heavier than protons. However, experts urge caution, emphasizing the need for further research and evidence from other cosmic regions to confirm these findings.
