The court found he mobilized military forces to seize the National Assembly, ruling it constituted ‘rioting.’ Yoon’s attorneys criticized the verdict, claiming it was predetermined, and he was taken into custody immediately. Other pending criminal cases remain against him, as prosecutors had initially sought the death penalty.
