The suspect in the mass shooting at Brown University, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, was found dead and identified as the same man who killed an MIT professor days later. Valente, a former Brown graduate student, took his own life in a New Hampshire storage unit after an intense manhunt. Authorities confirmed he had no accomplices and provided details on his movements leading up to the shootings. Valente, who obtained lawful permanency in 2017, was linked to the MIT professor’s death through surveillance video and a tip about his vehicle.
