The Fulton County, Georgia, election interference case against former President Donald Trump and 18 others has been dismissed at the request of new prosecutor Pete Skandalakis, who deemed it unwise to pursue. The case, which stemmed from allegations of efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, was dismissed by Judge Scott McAfee shortly after Skandalakis filed his motion. Trump and others had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges. The dismissal concludes two major election interference cases against Trump following the 2020 election.
