A police officer in Akron, Ohio, is on leave after shooting an unarmed man, identified as Corey Phillips, multiple times during an incident on November 11. The officer responded to reports of an intoxicated man brandishing a gun; however, body camera footage revealed Phillips was unarmed at the time of the encounter.
