The call center is expected to be operational by June 2026, amid the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown focused on these minors. Additionally, the Department of Homeland Security has offered a $2,500 stipend for voluntary departure to unaccompanied children. Earlier this year, ICE directed agents to locate these children within the U.S.
