The U.S. Senate and House have designated October 14, 2025, as a “National Day of Remembrance” for conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who was killed on September 10, with bipartisan support, despite opposition from some Democrats. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday in Glendale, Arizona, attended by notable figures including President Trump and Kirk’s widow, Erika, who has been appointed as the new CEO of Turning Point USA.
