Amir Jalil Ali, the boyfriend of police officer Denna Fredericka Campbell, who was found shot to death in her Maryland apartment in 1995, has been charged with first-degree murder after the case was reopened. Campbell, a four-year veteran of the D.C. Metropolitan Police, was shot five times, and Ali’s initial murder charge was dropped shortly after her death.
