The Defense Department is establishing two additional military buffer zones along the U.S.-Mexico border, increasing the total to four areas where military personnel can temporarily detain undocumented migrants for trespassing. The new zones will be integrated into Joint Base San Antonio in Texas and Marine Corps Air Station Yuma in Arizona, enhancing border security and monitoring operations.
