Judge allows Cassie video to be shown at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs trial

A federal judge in New York has permitted the inclusion of a video showing Sean Combs allegedly kicking and dragging his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, during a 2016 incident in a Los Angeles hotel, as evidence in his upcoming sex trafficking and racketeering trial. Despite defense claims that the footage was manipulated, the judge ruled there was no unfair prejudice to Combs. His defense strategy includes portraying him as a “swinger” to justify inviting prostitutes, while Combs denies the charges and asserts that his sexual encounters were consensual, with jury selection set to begin on May 5.
