911 call made by suspect in arson attack on Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s residence released

Cody Balmer, 38, allegedly firebombed the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion and later called 911 to confess, expressing apologies and mentioning his grievances against Gov. Josh Shapiro. During the call, Balmer stated that Shapiro was causing harm to his family and friends, referred to the fire damage, and claimed he wished no harm on anyone. Balmer faces eight criminal charges, including attempted murder and terrorism, and is being held without bail, with a preliminary hearing set for April 23.
