Steelers Vice President Art Rooney, Jr. is one of nine semifinalists in the Contributor category for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026, joining notable figures like Robert Kraft and K.S. ‘Bud’ Adams. Rooney, Jr., son of Steelers founder Art Rooney, has been with the organization since 1961 and was instrumental in drafting multiple Hall of Famers. The Contributor Blue-Ribbon Committee will select a Finalist on November 11, with the Class of 2026 announced in February and enshrined in August.
