States and Hometowns with Most Team USA Athletes for 2026 Olympics

The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee will send its largest Winter Olympics team to the 2026 Games in Italy, comprising 232 athletes from 32 states. Colorado leads with 30 athletes, followed by Minnesota with 24 and California with 19; however, 18 states have no representation. The team includes 98 returning Olympians with 22 gold medals and features three members from New Zealand, Canada, and Ukraine. This roster surpasses the 228 athletes from the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang.
