Zarin Daruwala, the CEO of Standard Chartered India and South Asia, will retire on April 1, 2025, after more than 35 years in the banking industry. She joined Standard Chartered in 2016 following a successful tenure at ICICI Bank, where she focused on expanding the market in India with a strategic emphasis on corporate and investment banking. Standard Chartered will announce Daruwala’s successor in the near future, as her leadership has positioned India as one of the largest markets for the group.
