Karabo Makgalemele, a junior sprinter from Benoni Northerns Athletic Club, displayed resilience by finishing a race despite a hip injury. Despite not winning, he showed determination and is now aiming to qualify for the provincial and national championships. With PBs of 14.05 in the 100m and 11.53 in the 80m, he aspires to follow in the footsteps of his idol Usain Bolt and continue improving with the support of his coach and parents.
