The U.S. women’s hockey team defeated Sweden 5-0 to advance to the gold medal game against Canada, maintaining a record of not conceding a goal in 331 minutes. Elana Meyers Taylor won her first gold in women’s monobob, while Japan’s Ryuichi Kihara and Riku Miura made history by winning gold in pairs figure skating. Norwegian skier Atle Lie McGrath had an emotional meltdown after crashing out of medal contention. Tomorrow features the highly anticipated women’s figure skating event.
