Three-time world champion surfer Mick Fanning expressed surprise and gratitude upon being named as one of the eight new inductees to the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, alongside athletes such as Mark Knowles, Karen Murphy, Sally Pearson, and Mark Skaife.
