Southern California school counselor accused of having sex with teen student

Julie Tichon, a 37-year-old Southern California high school guidance counselor, has been charged with engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student on multiple occasions between February and March 2024. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office brought forth the allegations, stating that the incidents occurred at a West Los Angeles high school where Tichon was employed. She is currently under investigation and has not been identified by name.
