A junior hockey team in southern Alberta, the Southern Alberta Mustangs, announced that three of its players died in a motor vehicle collision while en route to practice. The team expressed profound grief, stating the players were cherished members of the Mustangs family and their communities. The Mustangs, part of the US Premier Hockey League and consisting of players aged 16 to 20, are cooperating with authorities while providing support to affected families and teammates. The incident occurred in Stavely, a small town located approximately 115 kilometers southeast of Calgary.
