South Korean authorities have arrested impeached president Yoon Suk Yeol over insurrection accusations, following his declaration of martial law and subsequent suspension from duties. Yoon submitted himself for questioning to prevent violence after a failed arrest attempt by police, and his supporters protested the efforts to detain him. Yoon exercised his right to remain silent during questioning and mentioned election fraud claims in a later Facebook post, while his die-hard supporters defended him at his residence.
