South Korea says deal reached with US for release of workers in Georgia plant

More than 300 South Korean workers detained during a large immigration raid at a Hyundai plant in Georgia will be released and repatriated, following negotiations between the South Korean and U.S. governments. The raid, part of a broader immigration enforcement initiative, resulted in 475 detentions, with ongoing investigations and no charges filed as of yet.
