The chief prosecutor of the CIO has stated intentions to arrest Yoon when circumstances allow. Key government and military figures are also under investigation for their involvement in enforcing martial law, with the former defense minister having attempted suicide following his arrest. Military and intelligence officials have made incriminating assertions against the former defense minister and the president during emergency parliamentary sessions.
