Two South Korean fighter jets accidentally dropped eight bombs on a civilian area during a joint live-fire exercise with the U.S. military in Pocheon, injuring eight people. The air force apologized, expressed hopes for the injured’s speedy recovery, and suspended all live-fire drills across South Korea. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident and prevent future occurrences.
