Two South Korean fighter jets accidentally dropped eight bombs on a civilian area during a joint live-fire exercise with the U.S. military in Pocheon, injuring eight people. The air force apologized, expressed hopes for a speedy recovery of the injured, and announced an investigation into the accident. RCMP finally discovers identify of mysterious 1985 Air India bomb-testing suspect
RCMP Asst. Commissioner David Teboul announced the identification of a previously unknown suspect, dubbed Mr. X, who assisted in testing the bomb that destroyed Air India Flight 182 in 1985; however, he has died without facing charges.
