Columbia Banking’s 7 Million Position in a Weak Stock Year

On November 13, HoldCo Asset Management revealed the acquisition of 1.24 million shares of Columbia Banking System (NASDAQ: COLB) for $31.48 million. This purchase increased HoldCo’s total holdings in Columbia Banking System to 5.72 million shares, valued at $147.30 million as of September 30. Columbia Banking System now represents 15.55% of HoldCo’s $947.56 million in assets under management.
