September proved to be a strong month for the market, with all major asset classes posting gains; however, emerging market stocks led the way, rising 6.6% according to the FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap China A Inclusion Index, outperforming U.S. stocks (3.4%) and the S&P 500 (3.6%), as well as the Nasdaq 100, which increased by 5.4%.
