The High Court ruled that a receiver of a mews lease in Dublin must pay rent arrears to the late Renée ffrench-O’Carroll’s sons and executors. The dispute arose over the interpretation of a rent review clause in the lease, with the court determining the receiver must pay arrears from 2014 and 2018. The mews lease had been previously rented to one of ffrench-O’Carroll’s sons, triggering a legal dispute that ultimately led to the receiver being appointed in 2016.
