The Met Office has issued a three-day snow warning for much of Britain, with temperatures dropping for the first weekend of 2025. Up to 20-30cm of snow is expected to fall over high ground in Wales or the Pennines, with potential power cuts and rural communities becoming cut off. The warning area covers Wales, southern Scotland, and almost all of England, with uncertainty over which areas will see disruptive snow, particularly in Wales, northern England, and the Midlands.
