A three-day snow warning has been issued for much of Britain, with temperatures set to plunge this weekend, causing further misery in areas already affected by flooding. The yellow warning covers all regions of England except the South West, the majority of Wales, and parts of southern Scotland, with up to 30cm of snow expected in some areas. Greater Manchester Police have declared a major incident due to widespread flooding, with mountain rescue teams assisting in dealing with damaged properties and stranded vehicles.
