Small boat Channel arrivals pass 25,000 – the earliest in year figure has been reached so far | UK News

More than 25,000 migrants have crossed the Channel into the UK this year, reaching a total of 25,436 arrivals since January 1, the earliest this figure has been recorded. On Wednesday alone, 898 migrants were detected, surpassing last year’s 25,000 threshold which was not reached until September 22.
