Six people killed after helicopter crashes into reservoir in Sri Lanka

At least six people were killed in a helicopter crash in Sri Lanka during a military graduation parade when a Bell 212 helicopter plunged into the Maduru Oya Reservoir. The Sri Lanka Air Force reported that the aircraft had 12 people on board, including two pilots, and that four special forces personnel and two air force gunmen died from their injuries, while six others were hospitalized. Emergency services are conducting a rescue operation, and the pilots were rescued safely; however, further details regarding the cause of the crash remain undisclosed.
