Brakpan Shotokan Karate Dojo, led by sensei Lolia Basa, recently held a prizegiving event where all students received trophies for their dedication. The dojo provides affordable training to children, aiming to teach discipline, self-defence, and respect while keeping them off the streets. Despite financial challenges, the students are preparing to compete in the All Africa Games in 2025 and are seeking sponsorships to continue their development and secure an indoor training space.
