On Black Friday, a busy shopping day, police evacuated the Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara, California, following a shooting that left two individuals wounded. The San Jose Police Department confirmed the incident was isolated and ensured there was no ongoing threat to public safety. The victims were transported to a hospital for treatment. San Jose and Santa Clara are located about 50 miles south of San Francisco.
