Shohei Ohtani to pitch for Dodgers in NLDS Game 1

Shohei Ohtani will make his postseason pitching debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 1 of the National League Division Series, following the Dodgers’ sweep of the Cincinnati Reds in the Wild Card Series. Ohtani, who had a strong regular season with 55 home runs and revived his hitting in September, did not pitch last year due to elbow surgery.
