Shocking moment police duck for cover as teenagers launch fireworks

In Greater Manchester, police officers faced a barrage of fireworks from a group of 30 teens at an illegal bonfire in Gorton, leading to arrests and property damage. Across Scotland, officers also dealt with significant disorder and damage caused by fireworks, resulting in multiple arrests and charges. In response to the incidents, a campaigner delivered a petition with over one million signatures to Downing Street calling for tighter firework restrictions to protect people, animals, and pets from harm.
