Seven police officers injured in two Derry incidents on Wednesday, says PSNI – The Irish Times

A PSNI officer in Derry was kicked multiple times in the head during a violent incident, resulting in seven officers being injured in two separate incidents. A 25-year-old man has been charged with assault on police and disorderly behavior in the Waterside, while a 33-year-old woman has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm, assault on police, and criminal damage in the Cityside. Both individuals are scheduled to appear before the court for their respective charges.
