Settlement reached in Greenfield Park hockey coach sex abuse class action

A settlement agreement has been reached in a class-action lawsuit against deceased Greenfield Park hockey coach François Lamarre, accused of sexually abusing youths under his watch for decades. The suit, launched four years ago, sought compensation for victims and argued the city, which merged into Longueuil in 2002, failed to protect children in its hockey program.
