The 57th annual Arcadia Invitational track and field meet kicked off with Servite’s boys 4×100 relay team setting a new state and meet record of 40 seconds flat, defeating Long Beach Poly by 32 hundredths of a second. The Friars also won the 4×400 relay in 3:12.33, while Jane Hedengren established a new national two-mile record of 9:34.12, and Aliso Niguel’s Jaslene Massey triumphed in the girls shot put with a throw of 48-09.50. Other highlights included Jack Stadlman’s 400m victory and Arrington’s new 200m meet record of 20.35, showcasing a weekend of remarkable performances.
