Thanet District Council is proposing £100 fines for public swearing and other anti-social behaviors in seaside towns Birchington, Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs, following previous attempts that were halted due to legal threats. If approved on July 24, the order aims to curb disturbances and will be in place for three years, with reduced fines for early payment.
