On June 4, 2025, a loggerhead sea turtle named Dilly Dally was released into the Atlantic Ocean after recovering from a front flipper amputation due to predator wounds. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, Florida, facilitated her rehabilitation, and a satellite tracking device was attached to monitor her journey. The release, attended by beachgoers who cheered as she entered the water, highlighted the ongoing efforts to conserve endangered sea turtles, with each successful release contributing to the species’ survival.
